Clearing the Logjam at the Medical Center
We were handling a commercial renovation right near Longview Regional Medical Center, where the alleys are tight and the schedule is tighter. The site manager was frustrated because a national hauler missed three pickups in a row, leaving a mountain of drywall and metal stud scraps baking in that ninety-degree heat. Crews stopped working because the debris blocked the loading dock, and the whole timeline stalled out.
I pulled our truck around back within an hour of the call, squeezing a 30-yarder into a spot most drivers wouldn't attempt. My crew and I set up a swap schedule that timed perfectly with their shift changes, ensuring the dock stayed clear. We coordinated directly with the foreman to make sure the placement didn't block the HVAC contractors, getting the project moving again immediately.
Travis got the bin dropped exactly where we needed it, and the site was clear before lunch.
